What to Wear During the Holiday Season? {Cosa Indossare Durante le Feste?}
What to wear during the holiday season? Just like anything else, Christmas holidays have their own “dress code” like I love to call it. I personally use these days to rock some of the things I wouldn’t otherwise wear on a regular occasion. Below are a few of the things I like to put on to celebrate the holidays:
SOMETHING RED - When Christmas time approaches I like all red everything. I almost always go for a bright red lipstick along with red nail polish for the makeup, while I usually try to wear a red dress along with some mandatory red panties. No one should be allowed to go around the city on New Year’s eve without a pair of red panties on! They bring good luck for the new year to come and usually come in many fun and stylish models.
GLITTER & SPARKLES - Who said your outfit can’t be brighter than Christmas lights? If you are into sequins or glittery pieces of clothing this is probably your best shot to show what you have been longing to wear to your family and friends. Clothes with sequins or in metallic colors along with some equally sparkling accessories would be the best choice to go for when deciding what to wear during the holidays.
CHRISTMAS SWEATER - Ok, some of them might look a bit too over-the-top and ridiculous at times, but if carefully picked and chosen wisely, Christmas sweaters could prove to be the most fun and cute things to wear. Go for something with a Norwegian pattern or with an original-yet-fancy image and I will guarantee you that if paired well with the rest of your look a Christmas sweater could turn out to be your best purchase ever!
HEADBANDS - Doll up your Christmas outfit with some nice and flashy headband! Remember Blair from Gossip Girl? I’m talking about something along that line.
LITTLE BLACK DRESS - If a red dress is too much for you to handle, then it’s time to pull out your little black dress from your closet. This not only is the perfect piece of clothing to wear on New Year’s eve but it is also an essential item you will always be able to wear on any other day of the year.
TIGHTS AND SOCKS - Choose your favorite model and spice your lookup with a pair of cute high socks or tights. With lace, or cute designs, dotted, or with floral patterns the possibilities and models to choose from are truly endless! So pick one and have fun!
WINTER BOOTS - I just adore winter boots. No matter if with fur details or pompoms on the side these are among my favorite things to wear both during the holidays and wintertime in general.
BOLD ACCESSORIES - Don’t be shy at Christmas time. Go for some bold accessories that will catch the eye of the people around you. Also don’t forget to put on some fun gloves, scarfs, or hats to face the low temperature.
FUR COAT - If in faux fur a fur coat is the essential piece of outerwear to accompany any of your holiday looks. Try to go for a vest, jacket, or coat and the rest of your outfit will come easily.
A RED BOW - As the last suggestion I advise you to get a red ribbon and fold it into a bow which you can then wear in any way you like best. Put it as a pin onto your sweater or may be attached on the side of your beanie hat. A red bow can be worn in a million different ways, even around your wrist as a bracelet or on your head around your ponytail or as a headband: a red bow that’s customized according to your needs will always leave everyone in awe. Just use your creativity as you see fit and be stylish with it!

Cosa indossare durante le vacanze natalizie? Come tutte le feste anche il Natale ha il suo “dress cose” come mi piace chiamarlo. Personalmente durante queste giornate ci sono alcune cose che mi diverto ad indossare. Ecco una lista dei miei Must-Have:
QUALCOSA DI ROSSO - Quando si tratta del Natale, ogni cosa per me diventa rossa. Dal rossetto, allo smalto fino al vestito da indossare per la sera della Vigilia. D’obbligo poi é l’intimo rosso, da indossare la sera di Capodanno! Sono un portafortuna per il nuovo anno e solitamente si trovano di modelli carini e simpatici!
GLITTER & PAILLETTES - Chi dice che il vostro outfit non puó essere piú luminoso delle lucine di Natale? Se vi piacciono glitter e paillettes allora questo é il periodo migliore dell’anno per mostrare, ció che tenete nascosto nel vostro armadio, a parenti ed amici. Assolutamenti sí quindi, a vestiti, gonne ed accessori che non vi lascino passare inosservate 🙂
MAGLIONI NATALIZI - Ok, ammetto che talvolta alcuni modelli possano essere un po’ ridicoli ma se scelti attentamente i tipici maglioni Natalizi (con tanto di renne e fiocchi di neve) possono essere le cose piú divertenti e tenere da indossare. Vi consiglio quindi di andare per una fantasia norvegese o magari qualche messaggio in stile natalizio!
CERCHIETTI - Impreziosite il vostro outfit natalizio con qualche cerchietto stile Blair Waldorf di Gossip Girl. Vi ricordate? Ecco, sto pensando ad una cosa del genere 🙂
VESTITINO NERO - Se per voi il vestito rosso é un po’ troppo, allora vi consiglio di optare per il classico tubino nero. Piú semplice e sobrio, é decisamente una perfetta alternativa.
CALZE E PARIGINE - Scegliete il vostro modello preferito e aggiungete al vostro look un paio di calze a fantasia o di parigine. Di pizzo, a pois, a fiori o colorate, insomma le possibilità tra cui scegliere sono infinite!
STIVALI INVERNALI - Adoro gli stivali invernali. Comodi e supercaldi, con pompoms o dettagli di pelo, sono decisamente il modello che preferisco indossare in inverno.
ACCESSORI CALDI - È questo il periodo ideale per indossare accessori pesanti come sciarpone, guanti e cappelli. Compratene di simpatici o a fantasie a quadri o floreali.
CAPPOTTI PELOSI - Meglio se sintetici, i cappotti in pelo sono perfetti per accompagnare le vostre vacanze natalizie. Provate il modello smanicato, la giacca o il cappotto per completare il vostro look.
UN FIOCCO ROSSO - Come ultimo Must Have vi consiglio di tenere all’occorrenza un fiocco rosso. Lo potrete usare in mille e uno modi diversi: come spilla su un maglione, su una giacca o anche su uno zuccotto. Oppure lo potrete mettere tra i capelli, su una coda di cavallo o su una treccia. O semplicemente intorno al polso per dare un tocco di colore al vostro look. Insomma basta usare un pó di creativitá per personalizzare qualsiasi cosa.
