Under The Sun Of Tuscany

A few pictures from my first day here in Tuscany in the small and pretty town of Sarteano, just a few miles away from the city of Siena. Mattia and I have been very busy dividing ourselves from days spent at the swimming pool, lunches around the pretty restaurants of the area, and eating a few Chianciano cakes – a sort of pies made of cream and walnuts I strongly suggest you try if you ever happen to come around here. While I work on my suntan under the Tuscany sun I can’t help but wish I could bring a bit of this relaxing lifestyle to my daily life in New York.

Qualche foto della mia prima giornata a Sarteano, un paesino bomboniera dove a qualche kilometro da Siena io e Mattia ci dividiamo tra giornate in piscina, cene a base di pici al ragù, e qualche torta di Chianciano di troppo (una sorta di crostata con crema e mandorle assolutamente da provare nel caso capitaste da queste parti).Mentre lavoro sulla mia abbronzatura con sedute intensive sotto il sole della Toscana cercando di passare dal mio colorito bianco pallido newyorchese ad un tenue bronzo mediterraneo non posso fare a meno di desiderare un po’ di questo lifestyle spensierato nella mia vita Americana di tutti i giorni.
