The Girl In The Lace Scarf

I almost completely forgot how awkward it is to take pictures in Rome. In New York, I simply don’t care about what people think, just because I already know that, right behind me, there is always someone else crazier than me doing something more exciting to look at. Here, instead, people just stare at me wondering who’s that weird girl posing in front of the camera. I am slowly trying to get rid of my shyness… After a while, I finally managed to take the pictures you see in this post. Lately, I can’t get enough of this lace scarf from La Fiorentina, I believe it is one of the softest I’ve ever worn! I matched it with a white skirt, a simple grey tee, and my new silver pumps. I hope you like the look!

Mi ero quasi dimenticata quanto fosse imbarazzante scattare foto a Roma…. A New York ormai non me ne preoccupo più, tanto già so che proprio dietro di me c’é qualche altro pazzo che sta facendo qualcosa di molto più eclatante. Invece qui, gli sguardi e le facce delle gente che pensa :”Ma chi é questa matta che si sta facendo tutte queste foto?” sono perfettamente normali. Quindi cercando di archiviare la mia timidezza, sono riuscita a scattare le foto che vedete oggi. Ultimamente non riesco a separarmi da questa sciarpa in pizzo di La Fiorentina, che credo sia una delle cose più morbide mai provate, l’ho abbinata ad una gonna a ruota bianca, una semplice tee grigia e le miei nuove pumps argento. Spero le foto vi piacciano!
