The Boater Hat

It‘s been a few days that I wanted to create a look with this tartan shirt when my old black hat finally gave me the right dose of inspiration I was looking for. After having pressed the top part with careful attention I then managed to make it look like a perfect boater hat. I fell in love with one of these Ralph Lauren F/W 2012 collection and got totally addicted to it ever since then. Hale Bob vest to add the final touch and I am more than warm to face the cold of this unusual fall in the city. I just wish it stayed like this forever.

Erano un po’ di giorni che volevo creare un look con la mia camicia plaid e poi eccolo li’: il mio solito cappello, dalla forma ancora non identificata, mi ha dato l’idea. Dopo averlo schiacciato sulla parte superiore sono riuscita a creare il modello che cercavo da secoli, un classico boater hat che si abbina perfettamente a qualsiasi look. Il modello perfetto lo trovai nella collezione F/W 2012 di Ralph Lauren e sin da quel momento mi sono ripromessa di prenderne uno. Gilet di pelliccia di Hale Bob e il clima perfetto per non gelare: vorrei che il tempo qui a New York rimanesse sempre cosi!
