Seattle: We R Here!

Here I am: directly from Seattle, the rainiest city in the US but also one of the most romantic ones. I will be here with him for a week at the house of a very dear friend of his from his High School days as an exchange student.

The scenery and the landscape are just so beautiful and different from those of NYC, and sometimes it is really good to take a break from the chaos of the big apple. I took these pics in the neighborhood where he used to live when he came here at the age of 17. How could I not fall immediately in love with the place? Plus, when your friends lend their truck to drive around everything gets even better!

Ed eccomi direttamente da Seattle: la citta’ piu’ piovosa d’America ma anche una delle piu’ romantiche e caratteristiche degli Stati Uniti. Staro’ qui una settimana insieme al mio ragazzo per una breve vacanza ospiti a casa di un suo amico di vecchia data dai tempi del liceo.

Che dire? Il panorama e’ estremamente diverso ed il tipo di vita che si fa qui totalmente differente da quella frenetica di New York, ma mi piace da matti ugualmente! Ho fatto queste foto nel quartiere dove lui ha vissuto quando e’ venuto qui a 17 anni. Come potevo non innamorarmi perdutamente delle villette a schiera dai colori pastello perfettamente allineate e dal giardino cosi ben curato da sembrare finto? Ogni tanto un break dal caos di NYC ci vuole, e se poi si ha anche un mega truck a disposizione per girovagare di qua e di la, la cosa diventa anche piu’ emozionante!
