Pin-Up Girl
When I found these pairs of shorts on sale at Zara I thought they would be perfect for a look to wear at the beach, matching them, for instance, with a red or white bikini. Then, after scavenging in my mother’s old closet, I found this crochet white top which I strongly believed was left buried in there for centuries. Could I just leave it in there and pretend I wasn’t hearing it was calling out for help? Of course not, and in a matter of seconds, I added this cute little piece to my already too-full closet.
I then started to add some accessories, and immediately went for these pairs of golden earrings very Stefano and Domenico style (I mean D&G of course). High braid and red lipstick to complete the ensemble. Once I was finally ready, I abruptly interrupted Matt’s relaxation on the beach, which had to terminate in order to take pictures to his selfish and bossy girl. That’s why I love him so much though, he’s so patient with me!

Quando ho trovato questi pantaloncini da Zara ho pensato fossero perfetti per un look sulla spiaggia, abbinandoli, per esempio, a un costume rosso o bianco. Poi, frugando nell’armadio di mia mamma, ho scovato questo top in pizzo san gallo che credo fosse sepolto lì da secoli senza mai esser stato utilizzato. Insomma, potevo forse lasciarlo lì ed ignorare le sue grida che recitavano chiaramente “Sono perfetto con quei pantaloncini di Zara che hai comprato a New York!”. Ovvio che no. Definiamolo anche un segno del destino. E così osservandomi allo specchio, ho iniziato ad aggiungere dettagli, come orecchini d’oro molto stile Stefano e Domenico (Dolce e Gabbana si intende), treccia alta e rossetto rosso. La vera vittima di tutto ciò? Il mio Matt (ormai visto che siamo a New York ho deciso di chiamarlo così) che ha visto il suo relax sul lettino interrompersi bruscamente per il solo fine di fare le foto alla sua ragazza egoista e prepotente. Lo amo si, specialmente per la sua pazienza.
