New York Fashion Week: #5 Day

For the 5th day of this fashion frenetic, hot but also fun fashion week I decided to wear one of my favorite skirts ever along with a pair of black vernis heels and a bag. The first appointment was at the Bebe collection presentation, where models were standing behind circular windows, all dressed up in sparkling and colorful dresses. In the afternoon Nicoletta and I went to the Carlos Miele fashion show which can only be described using one word: sensational

At night, we changed clothes and headed to the Socialyte gala for the Rescue Paw Foundation, a charity group that has saved hundreds of pets, a company that takes care of abandoned puppies. You can shop for a good cause HERE and all the proceedings will be donated to this group. I would like to get a dog as well, a little ugly, goofy and noisy pug! I think those pretty little fourlegged monsters are one of the cutest things I have ever seen. Who knows, maybe I will get to have one in my New York studio sooner or later!

Per il quinto giorno di questa fashion week afosa, frenetica ma soprattutto divertente ho deciso di indossare una delle mie gonne preferite. Tacchi neri in vernice, borsa abbinata ed eccomi pronta per assistere alla presentazione della nuova collezione Bebe, brand popolarissimo qui negli States, dove le modelle erano dietro delle “finestre” circolari in vestiti frizzanti e colorati. Nel pomeriggio poi io e Nicoletta ci siamo dirette verso la sfilata di Carlos Miele. Se dovessi riassumerla in una sola parola direi “da mille e una notte”. Alla sera cambio d’abito e poi dritte verso il gala di Socialyte per la Rescue Paw Foundation, un gruppo che ha come obiettivo di salvare migliaia di cani e animali da una fine certa. Potete fare shopping per una volta per una buona causa QUI e tutto il guadagna sara’ interamente devoluto all’associazione. Io vorrei tanto un Carlino invece, quei piccoli mostriciattoli rumorosi, goffi e bruttini sono una delle cose piu’ dolci e carini che abbia mai visto…chissa’ se riusciro’ mai a farne entrare uno nel mio piccolo monolocale NewYorkese…?
