Like a Bride
As anticipated in the post I published last Friday and on my Instagram profile (@camillasentuti) here are the pictures of my wedding! Just kiddin’ 😛 If that were true it would mean I got married at least five different times with five different dresses on the same day. These are in fact some of the best pictures taken with a few of the dresses I decided to wear directly from the “Made in Italy” Bridal Fashion Week I talked to you about last week. Wearing these beautiful dresses was amazing, although Matt, instead of being by my side completely suited up, was the one who actually was taking pictures of me!
I’ll admit it though: I can’t wait for my big day to arrive as well. Wandering around New York as a metropolitan bride really made me want to get married soon. A bunch of girls kept screaming “Congratulations” at me, while all the cars that would pass by close to where I was standing would play their horns at me. Lastly, a pretty little girl wearing a cute pink dress came to me while I was taking pictures in Central Park just to congratulate me. She then asked me if it was really my wedding, at which point I explained I was not an actual bride but I was just modeling for a photo shoot. I think all of her dreams got broken the way I told her that because she looked up at me with a long face and departed without saying a word… Poor little thing.
I guess sometimes we would be better off keeping the truth for ourselves!
Come vi avevo anticipato nel post di Venerdi e sul mio profilo IG (@camillasentuti) ecco le foto del mio matrimonio…Scherzo ovviamente… Anche perché vorrebbe dire che mi sono sposata almeno cinque volte, con cinque abiti diversi nella stessa giornata. In realtà questi sono gli scatti con i vestiti che mi sono piaciuti di più della sfilata “Made in Italy” che si é tenuta la scorsa settimana a New York. L’emozione di indossare questi abiti per la prima volta é stata tanta, anche se Matt al posto di essere al mio fianco in completo nero era quello che invece mi scattava le foto.
Si, lo ammetto, non vedo l’ora che il fatidico giorno arrivi anche per noi 🙂 Girare per New York in versione “sposa metropolitana” e’ stato davvero divertente. Alcune ragazze mi urlavano “Auguri” per strada, le macchine che mi passavano vicino mi suonavano e strambazzavano a piu non posso. Infine a Central Park un bimba, tutta vestita di rosa e con il viso dolce é venuta da me e mi ha detto: ” Congratulations!” cosi le ho spiegato che non ero una vera sposa ma che stavamo solo facendo delle foto per un servizio fotografico. In quel momento credo che tutti i suoi sogni si siano infranti a giudicare dall’occhiataccia che mi ha lanciato e il fatto che sia scappata via senza aggiungere altro….Povera! Delle volte bisognerebbe tenere la verità’ per noi stessi!
