Lady in Black

I am not a fan of total blacks look. Somehow, I always feel the need to add a touch of color here and there, even by simply putting some red lipstick on my lips. The Spiegel dress I am wearing today though kept screaming “black” in all directions, and so I had to tame my inclination to add color no-matter-what and keep things monochrome for once.

I therefore skillfully avoided the pearl clutch that I was initially going for, the red lipstick, and the shoes with multicolored heels to show myself in a “black widow” version! Jokes aside, here is a total black look with the only exception of this Zara necklace…sorry, I guess I couldn’t resist!

Non sono una fan del total black. Ogni volta ho sempre l’impulso di aggiungere qualche colore qua e la, magari anche solo con del rossetto sulle labbra. Il vestito di Spiegel che indosso oggi pero gridava “nero” in modo cosi evidente che alla fine ho dovuto tenere a freno i miei bollenti spiriti in un modo o nell’altro.

Ho quindi evitato la clutch di perle che avrei voluto aggiungere, il rossetto rosso scarlatto e le scarpe dal tacco multicolore per mostrarmi in versione vedova allegra! Scherzi a parte, sono riuscita finalmente anch’io ad indossare un total black, anche se poi non e’ del tutto vero… basti guardare la gemme della collana, che di “black” hanno ben poco…ma questo nel caso vogliate proprio essere pignole con la “p” maiuscola 🙂
