I Lost My Heart In Central Park

Spring is here but in a shy way. I, on the other hand, have already started putting away my heavy winter clothes, and let me tell you, it was exhausting, to say the least. I don’t want to see anything warm until the end of September. And while I was staring at the mess spread in my little New York apartment I decided to go on a quick tour at Ikea, in search of a better “house” for my clothes.

End of the story I am writing this post while waiting for the delivery guys to bring me my new “house-mate”. I am sure by the time I have filled all its shelves and hung all my clothes in it I will have surely reach the well-deserved peace of mind I was so desperately looking for. Moving on, here is the look I wore for a very special appointment on 5th Avenue which I will talk to you about in one of my upcoming posts. I put aside pastel colors to wear this fluo fuchsia heels and romantic shorts from SILVIAN HEACH. The heart details on the shorts and the bows on the shoes completely conquered me as soon as I saw them…but I am sure its something you probably already know right? Everyone’s got his own weak spots, right? 😉

Qui a New York la Primavera e’ ancora mite…io pero’ ho gia fatto l’odiato cambio stagione. Non voglio vedere piu’ scarponi e maglioncioni pesanti almeno fino a questo Settembre. E mentre fissavo rassegnata il mio piccolo monolocale NewYorkese sono stata presa da un raptus d’isterismo puro alla vista del troppo disordine (Non che io sia una maniaca dell’ordine sia ben chiaro, anzi sono tendenzialmente una disordanata cronica, ma c’e’ un limite a tutto!!) ed ho deciso di fare un piccolo tour da Ikea alla ricerca di una casa per i miei vestiti che oramai gridavano vendetta da un po’. Morale della favola vi sto scrivendo mentre aspetto che il nuovo “arrivato” mi venga consegnato. Tre ante che non vedo l’ora di riempire per raggiungere finalmente la tanto meritata pace dei sensi… Passando oltre, ecco il look che ho indossato per un appuntamento sulla 5th Avenue del quale vi parlero’ a breve in uno dei miei prossimi post. Ho messo da parte i colori pastello per sfoggiare questo paio di scarpe fuxia fluo e questi shorts dolcissimi di SILVIAN HEACH. I dettagli dei cuori sui pantaloncini e quei fiocchi sulle decolte mi hanno stregata da subito… ma credo che sia qualcosa che in fondo gia’ sappiate. Ognuno ha i suoi punti deboli, no? 😉
