Happy B-day to Me!
f you think about it celebrating one’s birthday is something quite strange…I mean, after all, time runs so fast and every year we became a bit older…so, here is the question of the day: why the hell do we keep celebrating our birthdays for?
If we didn’t do anything for our birthdays, we wouldn’t receive all of the attention, gifts, dinners/lunches out with our significant other we would normally receive…so the hell with time flying and Happy Birthday to me!
And in the meantime I am writing this post, curiosity is killing me because, differently from the other years, I still don’t know what my boyfriend got me for my b-day. I usually find it out a few days before by inducing him to spill some details, but this year I really have no clue. You will know more about it tomorrow but for now, I leave you with these silly pictures of me playing around with a bow headband and a pink giant balloon Matt got me for my b-day.
Se ci pensate il fatto di festeggiare i propri anni e’ una cosa alquanto strana…voglio dire, in fondo il tempo passa insesorabilmente, e ogni anno si diventa un po’ piu vecchi… quindi, quesito esistenziale del giorno: che cavolo festeggiamo a fare i nostri anni?
Ma nel qual caso non festeggiassimo non riceveremmo piu tutte le attenzioni, i regali e le cene/pranzi fuori che ci spettano (di diritto!) durante il nostro giorno speciale… quindi al diavolo l’eta’ che avanza e happy birthday a me!
E mentre vi scrivo ammetto che la curiosita mi sta uccidendo pian piano, perche a differenza degli anni passati, questa volta non ho la minima idea di cosa abbia in serbo per me la mia dolce meta’. Di solito lo sgamo qualche giorno in anticipo un po’ per furbizia mia, un po’ perche lui non e’ molto bravo a mantenere un segreto ma anche perche’ baro frugando in ogni angolo della casa alla ricerca di qualche indizzio. Ne saprete di piu’ anche voi domani, per ora vi lascio a queste foto un po’ stupide, fiocco in testa e palloncino fuxia alla mano….
