Emerald

I shot these pictures last weekend when the weather was still nice and warmer, and I illuded myself summer was indeed going to come back to town for a few days. That was not the case, however, and now I am faced with the hard truth: I need to do the “change of season” inside my closet I hate so much. I’d rather wear skin color tights and white patent leather boots for two weeks instead of going through such a drag… Maybe I’m overreacting. Not sure I could ever do such a fashion crime.

Today’s look is all about this white top in lace kind courtesy of BCBG, and this emerald skirt.

I literally spread myself all over the place to take these shots… Sometimes I wonder what the bystanders think of me when they see me… I guess it’d be better not to know!

Ho scattato queste foto lo scorso weekend, quando le temperature non si erano abbassate e la mia speranza che l’estate non fosse finita era più viva che mai. In realtà l’autunno sembra essere arrivato e per me questo significa solo una cosa. Un’incubo imminente che ho tutte le mattine in questo periodo dell’anno: l’odiato cambio di stagione. Preferirei indossare calze color carne e stivali bianchi di vernice per almeno una settimana…. Ok, forse sto esagerando…. Non credo sarei capace di una tale crimine.

Ma veniamo al look di oggi che è palesemente un rifiuto all’arrivo del gelo e dei cappotti, top di pizzo di BCBG e gonna azzurra,  tacchi rigorosamente alti e ‘smarmellamento’ (sarà una parola?!) sul muretto. A volte mi chiedo seriamente cosa pensino di me i passanti….meglio non sapere!
