Boston: Here We Are!

Boston is a city that makes you instantly fall in love. As soon as we arrived we went for a walk and the pretty buildings, the loud cafes, the splendid public park right in the middle of the many skyscrapers of the city completely cast their spell over us, having us thinking that Boston is truly one of the prettiest cities around.

Before going back to our hotel to change ourselves for a dinner at the famous open marker located in the north part of the downtown area, we decided to go for a walk to the waterfront where a million white boats populated the view on the water that separates the city from the Cambridge area. While the city mesmerizes me I can’t help but think of all the beautiful places this world of ours has to offer…

Boston e’ una citta’ che ti conquista istantaneamente. Appena arrivati abbiamo fatto un giro in centro, tra le casette a schiera cosparse nei vari viali alberati che si diramano per la citta’, ai cafe’ affollati, il parco pubblico con siepi e fiori dai mille colori collacato proprio al centro dei grattacieli di Midtown che si riflettono nei mille laghetti dove anatre, oche e anche gondolieri creano un’atmosfera surreale che conquista qualsiasi anima romantica come la mia. Ed io che pensavo che le gondole fossero un’esclusiva della nostrana Venezia! Prima di tornare in hotel e cambiarci per una cena fuori al famoso mercatino all’aperto nella zona nord di downtown, siamo arrivati al waterfront e abbiamo fatto una passeggiata al tramonto guardando le mille vele che popolavano il mare che separa la citta’ dal quartiere di Cambridge, dove Harvard ed alcune tra le altre universita’ piu’ prestigiose al mondo sono state fondate…E mentre la citta’ mi ipnotizza non posso fare a meno di pensare a quanti posti meravigliosi ci siano da scoprire…
