I hate going to the hairdresser. Seating still for more than four hours while I stare at myself in front of the mirror till I almost risk of falling asleep in front of everybody.
When it’s Arrojo though, things are way different. You start – as usual – from the waiting room where you are able to find all the latest Gossip magazine issues. Yes, I really mean it when say up-to-date…not like some other random places where you can still read of how Britney Spears cheated on JT or where they tell you of Gery Halliwell leaving the Spice Girls for once and for all. Then, you have an amazing Italian Caffetteria with the best panini and cappuccino ever! When it’s finally my turn I get assigned to Ryan, professional hairdresser and girl by the infinite patience and dedication. I mean, can you imagine washing, dying, and combing each and everyone of my hair? Should I have incurred in a customer like myself I’d have changed job INSTANTLY?
Shortly after I am almost done with the drying I glance at a girl with splendid hombre hair. Not only she has some amazing hair but she’s also got a wonderful color: her own roots color on top that gradually becomes blonde and then finally platinum on her tips. As soon as I see her I understand two things:
A) the guys at Arrojo are true artists and
B) I want that to be my next color.
Next time though, now let’s focus on getting blonder than ever 🙂
Odio andare dal parrucchiere. Lo detesto.
Dover stare seduta per ore mentre analizzo ogni mia singola cellula allo specchio al punto che vengo assalita da un’irresistibile sonnolenza…
Quando si tratta di Arrojo pero’ e tutta un’altra storia.
Si inizia dalla sala d’attesa dove sono disponibili tutti i piu’ recenti giornali di gossip (non come in alcuni posti dove si puo’ leggere ancora di Britney Spears che si lascia con Justin Timberlake o di Gery Halliwell che decide di abbandonare definitivamente le Spice Girls). Per non parlare poi della fantastica cafetteria tutta Made in Italy con i migliori panini, caffe e cookies al cioccolato!
Quando poi e’ il mio turno vengo presa sotto l’attenta supervisione di Ryan, ragazza dotata di infinita pazienza e dedizione. Ci pensate a lavare, tingere e dare una piega ad ogni singola ciocca della mia folta chioma? Io piuttosto avrei cambiato mestiere istantaneamente.
Poco dopo mi rendo conto che la ragazza di fianco a me ha dei capelli fantastici, una sorta di biondo platino sulle punte e più scuro sopra e in quel preciso momento capisco:
A) Che quelli da Arrojo sono dei veri e propri maghi
B) e decisamente piu’ importante, che voglio ad ogni costo quel colore!
La prossima volta però, ora concentriamoci nel diventare biondissima 🙂
