At The Waldorf Astoria Hotel

Last week I was invited as a guest to one of the most beautiful hotels in Manhattan: the Waldorf Astoria on Park Avenue. After a delicious lunch at the Peacock Alley, I got to take a little tour around the place and visit some of the most beautiful and secret places in the building. We saw the Guerlain SPA where we discovered all the treatments real celebrities get during their stay, as well as taking a look at the many stores inside the hotel. The place I liked the most was the rooftop where you get an amazing view of the city! You can actually see the balcony of the suite where Marylin Monroe shot the famous picture in which she was smoking a cigarette with James Dean. For a second it was like living in a movie from the ’50s. I couldn’t help myself from stopping to take some pictures there and I can’t wait to know what you guys think about them!

La scorsa settimana sono stata ospite di uno degli hotel più antichi ed eleganti di tutta Manhattan: il Walforf Astoria a Park Avenue. Dopo un pranzo nella Peacock Alley ho avuto l’occasione di fare un piccolo tour e visitare i luoghi più belli del palazzo. Tra questi la stupenda Guerlain Spa e tutti o suoi trattamenti da vera celebrity, i vari shops e la parte che mi è piaciuta di più il rooftop da cui si ha una vista mozzafiato della città. Pensate che si poteva addirittura scorgere il balcone della suite privata dove Marylin Monroe ha scattato la famosa foto mentre fumava una sigaretta con James Dean! Per un secondo mi è sembrato come di vivere in un film degli anni 50!
