   Nostalgia makes us do unthinkable things...and it's when we feel down that our wallets come to rescue us, bringing our morale on that upper level that we were so desperately needing.

All this mumbo jumbo to justify my last / crazy purchase after an intense tour among the various consignment shops of the city: the cream YSL satchel - or should you like it more - from Saint Laurent Paris.

I am still trying to get over the fact they stripped such a legendary brand of his iconic personality but I already know I will archive the fact as one of the many inexplicable things of the Fashion system.
Today's look is a bit Ralph Lauren / Gucci inspired if you will...you pick it ;)

  La nostalgia fa fare cose impensabili...e quando ci sentiamo giu' e' il momento che il nostro amato "portafoglio" ci viene in soccorso, tirandoci cosi' un po' su di morale.

Insomma, tutto cio' per giustificare il mio ultimo pazzo acquisto dopo un intenso tour tra i vari consignment shop della citta': la satchel di YSL crema - o Saint Laurent Paris se preferite.

Sto ancora cercando di capire per quale motivo abbiano dovuto cambiare nome (e logo) ad un brand cosi' iconico. Un altro dei mille meccanismi incomprensibili del Fashion system.
