Outside The Theatre

  The streets spreading from Times Square are populated by theaters and clubs with bright and colorful lights of any kind. Sometimes you may spot an actor leaving from the exit in the back still with his stage costume on his arm and a bit of make up on his face.

There is something that captures my heart and charms me about this part of the city where silence seems to be the only ruler even though the chaos of the big square is just a few steps away.

  Le strade che si diramano da Times Square sono popolate di teatri e locali dalle insegne luminose. Qualche attore esce dalla porta sul retro, a volte con il costume di scena al braccio ed il trucco ancora su di se.

C'e' qualcosa che mi rapisce e mi strega in questa parte della citta', cosi' vicina al caos della piazza piu' famosa di Manhattan ma allo stesso tempo cosi' intima e silenziosa...
