NYFW : A Great Start!

 First day of fashion shows, first fashion week outfit and second night event on schedule: everything proceeds great only if it wasn't for my aching feet, which I let sometimes rest in a pair of comfy flats and for the glacial cold that took over the city. I manage to take these shots before the city became an open freezer. The look I went for is totally ME I'll tell you that! Hope you like it :P

The first fashion show I attended was BCBG. I really like the choice of the colors for the clothes but somehow they didn't convince me completely and I found every piece of the collection too similar to one another.
On the contrary I really loved Chadwick Bell. The music, the lights, the atmosphere and the perfumes spread on the catwalk were perfect and created an orientalish ambient where amazing clothes were shown. I loved the gold and leather details!

At night I went to the Lulus.com Style Studio Event in Soho. The famous online store had organized a wonderfully planned event with cupcakes, make up, fluorescent cocktails and clothes of course! There was also a fortune wheel you could spin to try your luck and win some really nice prizes but I didn't get to win anything thanks to my usual bad luck :S Oh well, I actually console myself by choosing one piece from Lulus' new assortment of clothes for this S/S 2012,! A great event for a great brand, I literally LOVED it!

Primo giorno di sfilate, primo outfit da Fashion Week e secondo evento serale in programma, tutto procede alla grande se non fosse per i miei poveri piedi ( che quando possono si riposano in comode ballerine ), e il freddo glaciale ( con tanto di neve per non farci mancare nulla! ) che oggi ha invaso la città. Sono riuscita infatti a scattare le foto di questo look prima che la città diventasse un freezer a cielo aperto...per descrivere il look di oggi mi basterà solamente dire che è MOLTO me! :P

Le prima sfilata a cui ho assistito è stata quella di BCBG che mi è piaciuta molto per il colori quali il salmone, il bianco e il verde anche se gli abiti non li ho trovati molto portabili e la collezione un pò tutta sulla stessa lunghezza d'onda.

Chadwick Bell, invece mi ha entusiasmata in tutto, dall'atmosfera un pò orientale con profumi e odori inebrianti, alle musiche ma anche dalle luci molto particolari che creavano una passerella un pò insolita e infine ovviamente i protagonisti assoluti: gli abiti. Eleganti e femminili ma anche aggressivi con un tocco di oro e pelle.

La sera invece sono andata allo Style Studio organizzato a Soho da LULU'S.COM, shoponline dall'immancabile gusto scintillante e fresco, che non si è smentito preparando il tutto in maniera impeccabile: dai cocktail fluorescenti, alla ruota della fortuna ( dove si potevano vincere dei premi ma che purtroppo io con la mia totale sfiga non sono riuscita ad accaparrarmi -.-'), fino a un vero e proprio negozio con abiti e accessori da scegliere e portare a casa quello che piu' si preferiva. Insomma una giornata piena dove non è mancato proprio nulla!!
